Out of hours

For emergencies outside surgery hours e.g. night, weekends or public holidays, please ring 020 8423 5500 and you will be given the number to ring for emergencies. You will be referred to the out of hours service who will give you advice and decide on the best course of action for your problem.

OUT OF HOURS CARE IS NOW CONTRACTUALLY BEING PROVIDED BY NHS ENGLAND.

If your problem cannot be resolved over the telephone, arrangements may be made for you to attend the local Out of Hours Care UK Primary Care Centre (based at Northwick Park Hospital) where you will be able to consult a doctor. A home visit will be arranged if appropriate.

NHS Direct

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
